Dr. Data NG is a Hong Kong–based technologist, physicist, and entrepreneur recognized for advancing STEAM education and deep-tech innovation.

He is the CEO and founder of several technology Startup which specializes in STEAM and deep-tech education.

His work and advocacy span multiple emerging areas, including AI, STEAM and maker education, and biotech education. He has also served as a judge for the MIT International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition since 2019, helping connect education initiatives with the synthetic biology ecosystem.

After joining How to Grow Almost Anything (HTGAA) as a Global Committed Listener in 2025, he became a Global Teaching Assistant for the program.

Academically, he earned a BSc. (double majors in Physics and Finance, with a minor in Astronomy) and a Ph.D in biophysics and semiconductor physics from the University of Hong Kong.
