Bacterial Bio-etching
Project explores the use of marine bacteria (Pseudoalteromonas atlantica) as a natural agent for bio-etching and shaping agar-based bioplastics. By harnessing the metabolic activity of this bacterial strain, I investigate the patterns and textures it produces. The work examines the intersection of microbiology, materials science, and contemporary art and highlights the potential of using living organisms as collaborators in creative processes.
